Seen Parr on a number of programmes and listened to him  talk once in Leeds. he challenged Leeds Flickr members to come and hear him as "he`d never come across such a grumpy , negative lot". seems he didn`t like comments on our group about his Guardian shots of Leeds. His constant call seems to be "spray and pray" - shoot non-stop in the hope that some work. Shows in most of what I see by him and his success continues to astound me. Marketing is everything!

Right on the button H. Altough I think Mr P had a personality by-pass years ago. It's also handy to have some sort of safety net if your merciless persistence doesn't pay off and Mum and Dad is there to help pay the bills.
