Yes I saw that one too H and took me back. It`s still there though precious little else is as the whole front was boarded up last time I went

That doesn't surprise me Paul, it never was that vibrant. The Spanner closed years ago, but was a dive long before that. Still I suppose St Mary's island is still reasonably photogenic. Hours of fun were had canoeing around that part of the bay, and playing chicken with the incoming tide on the causeway.

We might well have been there at the same time once without knowing it! Mind you I always liked Cullercoats and Tynemouth best.

Speaking of fridges, did you see the one we have?  We have a beer fridge (yeah, I know, cold beer) that only opens if you scan a Canadian passport

Put together book for my younger daughter's 50th, which I received today from Blurb. Extremely pleased with the quality and photo reproduction.

It took a while to assemble the pictures and scan them and then get some chronological sequence into the layout and copy.

I've never taken family shots and so sourcing snaps (surreptitiously) from other family members, school photographs and friends etc. became a bit of a chore, but it seems to have turned out OK. Well the missus seems to think so, lots of ahhhs, smiles and reminiscences.
