Two goodnesses, first:

Won 'Best in Show' - only our little charity event but had over 70 dogs (reluctantly entered the Golden Oldies section as that sums us both up!)

Whatever and ever. Amen

Second goodness: going to Malham Cove tomorrow (having avoided it for years as everyone shoots there - but a mate suggested the trip). Photography been going to the dogs for months (as in photos of dogs!), so it'll be nice to have a break and do some landscapes - and Steve's a superb landscape photographer so he can give me tips! ;)
Whatever and ever. Amen

Well done Andy, and congratulations. I didn't even know Serif had a Bookface page.

What made out little household feel good today was finally, after nearly four months of epic incompetence from our shortly to be ex insurance company, we got our Mondeo back. Whoo hooo!

WMMFGT getting a message from my niece in Ireland earlier today asking if her and her hubby can come and stay with us in Jan or Feb....of course they can she is such an unassuming girl and her hubby is a lovely guy so now looking forward to seeing them....what else got the luxury Free Range 3 Bird roast ordered from the butchers for Xmas (got my in-laws coming up so instead of spending money driving down to Devon for Xmas we're splashing out on the roast)....Have been working LOADS of overtime as well so that will be handy for Xmas/Wifes birthday....alas that means photography is taking a real back seat at the moment but I have got permission to go out up to London on Sunday for remembrance day for a photoshoot if anybody fancies meeting up let me know

Excellent, well done on the win. Was the pic processed using serif software then?
1 body, 1 lens, 1 flash gun, 1 tripod, 1 cable release & 1 filter. Keeping it simple!
(I lied, just got a second lens!)

Thank you Andrew.

Indeed, I mainly use Serif x4 and cannot wait to try Serif x6 (which should then allow me to run additional plug ins like Topaz that I received recently)

WMMFGT  - getting back on line with new hub delivered today after last one conked.
WMMFG last week - a few days break in York, followed by a half day falconry which was a last years Christmas present from SWMBO. What a fantastic experience, walking round different habitats and flying a kestrel, a barn owl, a buzzard and an eagle owl.
