And yes, I have seen the forecast and have been reliably informed that that is normal.... :uglystupid2: ::)

But the real question is - why would you want to venture out of Lancashire if you're visiting with a camera?

I do the reverse rather too often - head out of Derbyshire to Lancashire!  :legit:

Whatever and ever. Amen

Andrew well done on the hold back, I remember my first hold back and how chuffed I was, it's a great feeling I just wish my club didn't "close" for the summer for so long, our last meeting was in early June and we don't reconvene until 11th Sept  ??? that's a long time between meets.....

And thank you to everyone for the congrats on the new job, I really am so pleased to have got something so soon.

Lancashire, Derbyshire, it's all norf of Watford innit....

I'm going to Ramsbottom for    , but on the way back will head for the Peak District.

And yes, I have seen the forecast and have been reliably informed that that is normal....

If your lucky you could take part in ' The World Black Pudding Throwing Championship ' which is held in Ramsbottom ( Lancashire ) every year. The idea is to dislodge as many Yorkshire Puddings as possible by throwing Lancashire Black Puddings at them.    Pictures below including one of my wife Jenny taking part. ( Bottom Picture )

Sounds nearly as weird as the international toe wrestling championship which we had a couple of weeks ago just down the road - and no, I didn't feel the need to visit and take pics!  ;D

Yes these things are a bit weird  ;D but it makes life interesting.     WMMFGT    I finally got round to putting up a permanent sign on the shop today instead of the temp one I have had since I moved in

Markulous

Yup, I'm all for weird and interesting!

Congrats on signage! Will pop in next time I'm in Leyland. Well, OK, never been - closest is Cuerden Valley Park and, more recently, the fab floating Brockholes (even if the wildlife side of things will need a year or two more to get better established)
Whatever and ever. Amen

Alan, if you do that before a shoot - i'd be prepared to switch my 5D2 to movie mode to capture it
