You think they will hire togs then  :2funny:  and spend thousands on enhancing CTV clips  :2funny:  when its easier to use mobiles  :D

Now how would that work in France with the Privacy Law    :2funny: :2funny:

And how are these said criminals going to be given a fair chance to change for the better!  :-\   Seems like its a usual half baked idea to please someones whim - Or a legit' way to pay the criminals when they sue whopping sums over equal rights issues :legit:

 So.
Just out of curiosity, who on here has a criminal record?
       I hav'nt, but that's probably because I hav'nt been caught yet.

I unfortunately have if memory serves me right over twenty odd years ago - A speeding fine for a couple of mph above the allowed er'- and an arrest,  :uglystupid2: having trusted the purchaser of an old van that he would send in the vehicle docs, before someone else notched up a parking fine  ::)  Hope I do not get banned from the site now  :-[

It's a bit cooler  :) Hate that muggy heat - looking good for later in the week weatherwise fingers crossed for sunshine without the humidity - hoping to do 2 days at a local agility show and take a few snaps. In 2008 I shot it with a Canon 40D and 70-200mm f4 L - in 2009 with a Nikon D90 and [mainly]70-300 vr - had another event on last year - this year it will be interesting to see if the K-5 can keep up with the action. Perhaps I'll concentrate on the 'any breed other than Border Collies' rings!  ::) :o

Yesterday
Went on a shoot with our very own Jonathan Ryan, can't post any shots I took yet due to client restrictions but will be allowed to soon. It was an absolutely fantastic day seeing how Jonathan works seeing light set ups etc which I had no previous experience of other than when I used to help my dad out nearly 30 years ago and times have achanged since then obviously  ::) and it was a live model rather than antique furniture that didn't need to move about.......
Absolutely knackering day lugging lights up and down stairs or in the lift in a very very plush hotel but it was a superb day and as soon as I get the ok from Jonathan I will post some pics hopefully....I got a lot out of it, learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed myself....and Jonathan even let me hold is his Blad for about 20 seconds  ;) WOW that is an awesome piece of kit and the viewfinder is crystal clear...now back to the jobhunting today....

Funny - I was literally checking this site to say a HUGE thanks to Keith for his help yesterday.

Very, very tough one.  But you know, I think we did OK.

I'm allowed to release one photo for the moment......

Cracking shot JR and what a stunning location.  ;D

Well done Keith and sounds like you enjoyed yourself.

I was in Jessops Birmingham the other day and they had a Pentax 645 40mp camera at only £9,999.  :-*

Thanks Jonathan it was a great day out, and although thoroughly knackered by the time I got home it was superb....Loved that "Whippy Ice Cream" balcony as well that was some hotel and again thanks for letting me be part of the day, just give me the nod when it's ok to post some shots to flickr etc.....

all the stats for the day are on Jonathans link suffice to say up at 5am got home at about 7:40pm and collapsed into bed at 9:20pm last night as I was so knackered but felt good that I had learnt something about lighting and seen how a true pro really works...

Thanks :)

Of course we had to work in absolutely hellish conditions.  Here's a picture that may have been taken by krennon (or could have been Karen - not sure who dared to push the button on the 'blad)

It's Guest's round

krennon

That would've been Karen definately wasn't me as I didn't dare touch any buttons on it  ;) like the B&W though def looks good, maybe not one to use for publicity though sitting in a bar with a shedload of bottles behind you might give the wrong impression  ;D
