The Great Crested Grebes have hatched three eggs.

The Male calling the youngsters with a fish in his mouth.

Love GCGs think they are one of my favourite UK birds, love pics of them with fish, looks like hes offering her them if she accepts they will be paired up

Took the 400mm F2.8 today to see the Great Crested Grebes, confirming the four eggs hatched.  The eggs were layed two days apart so, the two hatched a couple of days before the other two. ;D

Sadly, one died a week or so ago. It appeared to be smaller than the others and I did see the biggest one attack it!  :o
