Sudden and tragic do not do that news justice.

Peter will be sorely missed. Never met him - but never failed to read one of his posts or give his web activities a look.

A great gentleman, who gave me help and friendship. The world will be a lesser place with his departure. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

Like many, I never had the opportunity of meeting Peter personally but always found his moderation of the DCM forum to be both fair and honest and for this he will be sadly missed. My condolences go out to his family and to those who had the pleasure of knowing him as a friend.

Peter's voice was always one of calm and reason when he moderated the DCM forum. Always helpful and quick to advise. His signature, "Lord please help me to be the man my dog thinks I am", exemplifies his impish sense of humour and close relationship with his Jack Russell, whom he lost just several weeks ago.

Sincere condolences to his wife, family and close friends.
