Ooh, thanks for votes and the win. I'm up to my eyes at the mo', but I'll try to get a new theme up tomorrow for next week.

Chris, as part of the edit for my heart a monochrome conversion was done - the problem with this subject as a mono image is that there is very little contrast between the muted colours, so it works much better with the washed out look that I wanted. But, opinions may differ  :tup:

Boost the contrast then.....lol I dare say this now, but wouldn't have D A R E D a year ago lol!!!!

No I agree with H DD - black and white would ruin that image. All the distressed peeling paint would dominate in shades of white and emphasis would be lost. Boosting contrast would make it worse. Leave it as it is H - works for me.

The dusty mute colours and tonal range are spot on in my opinion; hence my vote!  :tup:
