Canon Users - Shutter Count

I stumbled across this free utility a little earlier http://astrojargon.net/EOSInfo.aspx  (EOSInfo) with which the shutter count for your camera can be ascertained. A couple of things to note: it only works with certain Canon cameras and although the 40D is mentioned at the top of the page scrolling down the page a bit lists other models for which it works. EOSInfo is only for Windows users: Mac users will have to use Shutter Count http://astrojargon.net/40DShutterCount.aspx which in fact list more Canon models than the Windows version. It's all to do with Canons SDK apparently.

Just tried it on my 40D and it was 100% accurate.   Handy for including in the sales jargon for ebay sales etc I would imagine.

Edit - forgot to mention that EOS Utility needs to be installed.
