CHAT - OPPOSITES- Weekly Challenge 16th to 22nd May 2016

This week's theme is OPPOSITES. I know we have done this probably several times before; I have chosen it because it is easy to find opposites everywhere. Left right, up down, front back, dark light, chalk and cheese. Try to be a bit creative, but above all have fun.
No restrictions on PP.
Pictures to be taken between now and Sunday 22nd May 2016, 23:59.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59pm Monday 23rd May 2016.
Poll will be up Tuesday 24th May 2016.
Winner to be announced Saturday 28th May 2016.

Post a topic on the Sunday (or sooner) following your declared win
Create an entries thread
Create a chat thread
Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)
In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.
Judging by other threads, I am not sure if the weekly competitions will be continuing, Just in case I posted an entry for this one! Please note I will not be about next week so if the competition goes ahead and in the unlikely event, I win, The second place entry will need to set the next theme and do the Poll. :o
I think this competition may be cancelled, unless there are more entries.
Not sure what is going to happen next. There was a flurry of interest about the demise of the competition, and the possibility to resurrect it with more relaxed rules, but I don't know if a final decision has been made yet.
Also no idea, whether the 'new' competition will be launched with a bang, or will simply be a continuation of the old one.

I've commented on the end of the road thread.
I was going to do 'buying and selling' at yesterday's car boot sale, but the only shot I could have got was 'wet and wetter still and even more wet than you can imagine' which is not opposites, just more and more of the same thing.
I have only taken photographs during my weekly stint as volunteer ranger. I'll have a look to see if anything can be 'seen' as opposites.

More entries than we have had for some time. Looks promising.
I found one shot, that could have been entered, but I did not get round/have the time to enter it.
Reaching the final stages of my apartment renovation ( at least of the 'day time spaces'); had a lot of old furniture removed by a charity yesterday and have been pulling and shoving the remaining furniture to get the 'ideal' set up. Not quite there yet, and all my muscles ache.
Today four windows will be replaced. Because of the size of the main living room window, and the height (fourth floor), I have a scaffolding tower in the back garden.
Once this is done, it is only the finishing touches that remain to be done.
I was planning not to touch the bathroom for some time, but now I am getting restless...
If someone points me how to add pics to a post, allows pictures from archive then I will attempt to enter the comps as well. No promises!!!

Adding pictures to posts is as simple as your name: go to the picture in the gallery, copy the 'BBCode full size' at the bottom of the info, and paste this in the post.
Would be nice if you joined in. A competition with more than a few entries, is so much more enjoyable.
