I'm not too sure how I should react to this. If you are inferring any comments I make on Flickr are sycophantic I fail to see the funny side I'm afraid. >:(

Alan, I know how you absolutely hate those formulaic and trite plaudits that are so prevalent on Flickr - that's the whole point; clearly the guy who developed this little script feels exactly the same.
I reckon that carpet bombing some of the main perpetrators of this silly habit in return might even be a bit of fun.
I think Graham got the joke.
