This week's topic is K9s, or doggies in general parlance. It seems like every time we do an animals challenge we pretty much end up with a cat fest. So this week let's see some dogs.

THIS IS THE CHAT THREAD

The ENTRIES thread is HERE

Pictures to be taken between now and Sunday 26th May 2019, 23:59, but if you find yourself at a loss in this time period, please enter something from your personal archives.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59 Monday 27th May 2019.
Poll will be up Tuesday 28th May 2019.

Winner to be announced Saturday 1st June 2019
The Rules for the weekly competition are...

By entering you agree to take responsibility to

Post a topic on the Sunday (or sooner) following your declared win
Create an entries thread
Create a chat thread
Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.

Was fortunate enough this week to watch some police dogs in training. This may be my entry.
May the Force be with you.

Went to our local market this morning where there are usually lots of people with their dogs on a Sunday outing. Today, not a single pooch. So I'm in with one from a couple of months ago.

I take photos from time to time for the website of a local pet rescue centre. This chap was found wandering and luckily was reclaimed a few days later by his owner - so happy ending.
