Absolutely no restrictions on Post Processing
Pictures to be taken between 00.01am Monday 8th July 2013 to 23:59 Sunday 14th July 2013.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 15th July 2013.
Poll will be up Tuesday 16th July 2013.
Winner to be announced Saturday 20th July 2013.

When they go out walking for exercise, some people take dogs. No longer having a dog, I take a camera. And today I was very lucky to spot this, so got in first with an unexpected entry.

Inconsistent wifi whilst away but by sheer chance I might have an entry to fit this one whilst out walking on the beach.
Personally I'm struggling a bit with this one. Dang.

I have had a splendid holiday and now back in the Uk basking in more sunshine. Had a great time. can recommend Side - though a little hot for my liking!

Have not been out, to photograph an entry specifically for the comp, as is my wont, but have been photographing some other things.
Seeing this shot, and those legs and feet, reminded me of the present copmetition (sorry, I'm not quite 'back' yet), so decided to have a fun entry.

I have really struggled with this one. Not least of all because of a busy week of other stuff. However, not wishing to let the side down I have come up with an entry. It was supposed to be so much more than this but I suffered from a triumph of reality over expectation and what I was planning just simply didn't work.

This was a case of working the competation shot into stuff that was already happening. Baking today (again, can you believe it?) so we had the paddling pool out and the kids were running round the garden.

Just voted - its been a while - was in Tenerife but had all of my camera equipment stolen from the car (in Spanish, El Robo....seriously)....My Canon 60D, 18 - 55 mm lens, Tamron 70 - 300mm lens, Canon 100mm macro lens, canon 50mm lens, memory cards, filters, backpack etc etc etc......All I had left was a lens I hardly ever use which I had left in my room in the safe. The Guardia Civil said they expect my stuff would be destined for Morocco. They must have watched me put my kit in the boot whilst I went to a viewpoint. Was only gone 5 mins. Put the window in and opened car/boot and stole camera bag and sisters bag with passports, credit cards etc in.
My insurance company (house, not travel) have been fantastic, and settled in less than 2 weeks. I had all replacement kit delivered to my door. So Im back and raring to go. Have an entry for this weekends comp, will post it over weekend.
Sorry to here about the robbery DD, but glad you're back up and running so quickly. Look forward to seeing the entry.
Hey DD, sorry about the robbery. Something very similar happened to a friend, seems to be a common trick.
Anyway looks like I have won so I will set up the next theme. Good comp and some good interpretations. Thanks for the votes.
