Forgive me showing off but...

When I retired from my first career 3 years ago, I joined the local camera club.

We have our annual exhibition in the town every February and on our private  member's night we present trophies and certificates. We had our private viewing tonight and the trophies were handed out.

Last year I won the B&W Photographer of the Year award. This year I won it again together with the other two trophies we compete for; Colour Photographer of the Year and Digital Image Photographer of the Year (used to be slides).

Each  trophy is given as a  result of a cumulative score over 4 competitions throughout the year, so to win, you have to do well in each event. The oldest trophy goes back to 1951. I'm led to believe that nobody in the club has ever won all three trophies.

Oh . And thanks for looking in

You only won because you showed them your 600mm Canon. Who's going to argue with that?  :P

Well done.
