I hate wasps. Got stung last summer, the pain and swelling lasted a week. Been stung by bees and it's only bad for a couple of hours.

I don't know about that, I was just walking from my car to a grocery store, I didn't even see the thing until after it stung me and flew off.

The common wasps do sting if they think they are being threatened and f yo go past it's nest which you wouldn't see it may have considered you a threat  they are vicious but most other wasps are only untested in the prey and this one above unfortunately kills bees
This is a common wasps nest and I was 3 feet away for the whole of this video . couldn't move back as it was a narrow footpath
