I had an amazing weekend at a friend's cottage on Georgian Bay. One large tree at the side of the cottage attracted, Blue Jays, Chickadees, GoldFinch, Nuthatches and  a Downey Woodpecker. On the lake itself were Red Necked Grebes.  ;D and Cormorants. With the occasional Turkey Vulture flying overhead.  The Cormorants and Turkey Vultures were too far off to get decent pics though.
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Is that the school version then. What checks / requirements do they do / have?
I was saying to my languages teaching wife that she really needs to buy latest CS version fpr herwork at school when she was telling me about being able to buy Office 2010 for an admin fee. She has not actually needed photoshop yet but could do  ;)

Err what's a chickadee? not heard of that one and wonder if it's one of those birds that has a different name in the Americas/Canada to Europe...

WMMFGT.....Start of a week off. already vacuumed the stairs and kitchen this morning so don't need to do that did the rest of the house over the weekend,  off to do a bit of shopping this morning then pick up the in-laws from Heathrow Bus Station this afternoon, looking forward to having them here...camera club tonight.....then relax for the rest of the week off to gigs etc....

Never heard of My Little Chickadee? A film staring Mae west and W C Fields from 1940.  ;D
It's a small common songbird belonging to the Tit family, mostly in North America.. Have a good week off.

Perhaps it's the result of North American prudishness. There are no 'Tits' in the bird books of Ontario or Canada. They do however list 5 subspecies of Chickadee. This is a Black Capped Chickadee, but I do agree it does look very much like the picture of the Great Tit I found on the internet.

Yes...   I've just check Wikipedia: These birds are called either "chickadees" (onomatopoeic, derived from their distinctive "chick-a dee dee dee" alarm call) or "titmice" in North America, and just "tits" in the rest of the English-speaking world.

I meant to say - it's a great photo, by the way. They move so quickly, not easy to capture.
