Just bought the paper and what I thought would be a little box on a page ends up being a full page spread. I`m famous..in Yorkshire  ;D

Brilliant.
Love it! What a nice thing to have.
May the Force be with you.

Won't be able to speak to you now without paying a fee.  :2funny:

If you're famous in Yorkshire, well, no where else matters.

It's years since I last saw that newspaper.
Both income tax and lockdowns were introduced as temporary measures by the government.

Whether good or bad I`ve now had my first jab of the Oxford Astrazeneca covid vaccine. Came some weeks earlier than predicted by the NHS main site. Seems in Leeds in my surgery they are onto the 65-70 group already. Lesson learned - don`t get the jab in the arm you sleep on! 24 hours on no symptoms except for a little pain in the arm at the site of the jab which made it hard to sleep on that side. What level of protection it gives me when bedded in and topped up  seems questionable but it might enable me to get away on holiday or into a restaurant  sometime if the rumoured Covid vaccine passports come in.

Hinfrance

Congrats.
Obviously here in the glorious peoples' socialist republic of Europestan we are nowhere near getting vaccinated. Given that our glorious leaders have announced that even after everyone is vaccinated citizens continue to be obliged to wear surgical masks (as of 27th February only surgical masks are legal) and never go close to or hug any other citizen on pain of criminal prosecution the lethargic vaccination programme is largely irrelevant.

I had mine on Friday and my arm had a dull pain when I slept on that side. To be fair they did warn me about that. I think it's because the jab is injected into your muscle rather than a vein. I'm over seventy not a young wippersnapper like you. I felt guilty when he asked if I was on any medications or been treated for anything and I said no.  ???

To show your support for your wonderful leader I think, you should all give him a big hug.  :hmm: :hehe:

Vaccine passports in the UK have been ruled out - so you can bet they will come in - but you may need one anyway to go abroad - or at least some proof of having had one. So you can guarantee the forgers will have a bumper year!

Yes been ruled out by a minister but at the same time reports that the Home Office are investigating. They usually end up doing  something a few weeks after they should have or said they wouldn`t! As you say countries like Greece and Spain are gearing up for it as they need the tourists.

Yes I felt guilty too as the NHS vaccination site said it wasn`t my turn yet. Thought it might have been leftover stuff that might have gone to waste but they assured me it was time for 65-70 year olds in my area so just have  it. They didn`t warn me about the ache i arm but I had read enough examples to make me think about it - you would have thought  :uglystupid2:

I feel good about having WiFi in the house now.
Its pretty rubbish across the house, as the house is quite big, so I have had to buy a mesh WiFi system which should get the WiFi to all parts of the house.

As such, I should be able to enter the competitions again, just hope I can get a decent photo.
May the Force be with you.

I have said before I think that I use Ubiquiti networking stuff. Which is excellent - though not that cheap.

I've also added a Raspberry Pi to be a local DNS and that runs some software call Pi Hole that basically gets rid of a load of adverts - not many YouTube ones unfortunately - but even so does filter a load out generally and speeds up the network as it doesn't download them first.
