WMMFGT? Being photographed with a Hasselblad. Photographer used a whole film on me. Liked my face, hair and skin tone, she said. Whatever next? (She wasn't wearing her glasses!)

Leading lady....here I come! Move over Helen Mirren!   ;D

I was wearing red, but a duffle coat, rather than a bikini!

Duffle coat! You mean you still have a sixties wardrobe?

Sixties was more Afghan then duffle coat! And no, the duffle is a fairly recent investment.

Didn't all the left leaning teachers in the sixties wear duffle coats?  ::)

I wouldn't know, I didn't know any left leaning teachers. Still don't. But they could well have, as duffle coats are very comfortable and warm, so ideal for people on strike, who have to march through towns, waving placards. (Or was that mainly in the seventies?)

None too near me Abers but if I end up going to Newcastle I might even  drop into Washington en route - even though I`d be going a bit close to Sunderland!!!! :-\

Finally came across my extended 3 year warranty slip for my D7000 bought ages ago from HDEW cameras as a grey import. It`s never quite been right / sharp  enough for me especially at wide apertures. After extensive testing yesterday highlighted I probably have a back focusing issue needing a -2- fine tune for most lenses I ransacked the house , found the receipt buried in my 2012 tax return stuff and sent it off for repair. Here`s hoping the Glasgow based repairers can sort it for me.

Can't you just dial the adjustments in and carry on? My Pentaxes remember the settings for each individual lens, I can't imagine that Nikons are any less capable.

You can do that on the pro Canon's - not sure about the "lesser" models as the ones I have are old and don't!

The 1Dx can remember multiple copies of the same lens too (As long as it has an embedded serial number)
