On the other hand . . . I ordered a new router yesterday lunchtime from a French Amazon marketplace company. It arrived this lunchtime, free standard delivery.

Of course, now I've got to set it up  :uglystupid2:
See you over in "What annoyed me today" in a bit.  :2funny: :legit:

Already been there earlier. But since you mention it . . my Orange Livebox dropped the internet during setup. The router itself was a breeze to get going. I like TP Link stuff :)

She's been gone since she went to uni; long enough, to enjoy her company again when she's here!

Wandered around town today whilst my wife and daughter hit the shops. Noticed these two establishments judiciously adjacent and wondered who took residence first!

Good job I had my fisheye handy. ;)

Pop in a couple of times a day, to see if anything interesting is going on. I only post images if there is anything worth posting or is a bit of fun, like above.

Been busy printing and mounting in preparation for a submission to a biannual exhibition that is for selection next month and struggling to find a sixth image to complete a panel for an exhibition in March. Might have got it yesterday but it needs a good bit of work for it to fit in with the theme. :-\

Not like you competition fans I find it difficult to just go out and find a subject that's sufficiently eyecatching to fit the weekly brief.

That picture just seems so typical of so many city / neighbourhood shopping parades now. Took someone through a slightly down at heel shopping centre en route to flashy new one i n Leeds the other day and hadn`t noticed how many cash chequing / loan making / gold buying and booking shops there were until they said.

Made me think of this juxtaposition I saw a while back:

Listened to the last few minutes and extra time. Man Utd are really so poor now. Quite a struggle to see who is getting beaten by Man City in the final  ;).  As I`ll be saying to my Mackem supporting mate tonight - just don`t do a Wigan! Amazing though 3 scored from 10 penalties - says a lot for the strikers on each team.

The one time I was able to get to Wembley to watch Newcastle play Liverpool unfortunately the team failed to turn up and was one of the worst days of my life  :(

Last evening.

There was a Barclays advert featuring a customer from Whitley Bay. Part of the time he was in the Rendevous Café on the promenade. Took me back to my early teenage years of hours spent sitting in there with friends, milky coffee and an illicit 10 pack of Player's No 6, keeping a weather eye out for skinheads. I didn't imagine for one second it would still be there, and still look so much the same.

Ah, nostalgia ;)
