Thrilled to bits of course! It's not a selling exhibition (so no disappointment on that front) but a showcase of creative arts.
Fingers crossed, it will be the beginning of ... don't really know. More exhibitions hopefully, but I know, I still have a hell of a lot to learn about photography!

Thank you all. I'm mighty pleased, as I think my pictures look very 'professional.'  (In the land of the blind ... Literally!)
Don't know if they will be on display the whole time, as it is a 'democratic' exhibition, and I suppose if there are loads of submissions, they may have to make room for others.

At the back of the gallery was a pile of plastic wrapping materials, which I assumed had come off the exhibits. Later I realised it may have been an 'installation.' Glad I didn't ask!

Going there later this morning, to see if and where they are on display.

An illustration of my blindness; went to have a look earlier today and the pile of 'plastic wrapping materials,' turned out to be, a blue eyed polar bear, made of plastic milk bottles! I simply cannot do 'first glance'! Need to 'scan' everything three times, before it makes sense to me.

It is. Felt even better, when I met a group of ladies there, who were discussing one of the pictures (Flow), wondering what it was. When I explained, they were over the moon, having met 'the artist.'
