Maybe you'll only get suspended for 7 days too Alan. Although hopefully not by the neck.

Tip: don't rob a bank, rob the government - they obviously don't really care about being ripped off - it's not their money, after all, it's yours :)

WMMFGT. Reading that David Laws was only guilty of misconduct when he claimed  £40,000 of expenses to which he was not entitled because he wanted to keep the facts of his sexual orientation from the public at large,

If you did that in the real world, regardless of reasons, you would be out on your ear!  >:(

Whether that would wash with the judge remains to be seen, after all he will be the one wearing a long gown and a heavily permed wig.

Are these the same chaps who wear woman's undies under their robes, if rumors are to be believed.  :o

What made me feel very good was, that if my planned bank robbery ever comes to fruition and I am caught with my hand in the till, I can now use the precedence of his defence that I was only doing it because I was worried that my hetrosexual tendencies would be disclosed to all and sundry! ::)

That only applies to MP's and members of the Lords. Anyone else, they would be down on you like a ton of bricks, made to pay back every penny with interest and sent to prison with a long sentence.  >:(

Last night when I got in,

Sorted dinner out (a rather nice chicken biryani) did lots of gardening, planting the flowers in tubs and the flower bed that we hadn't got round to planting from a week and a bit ago, so now hopefully we'll get lots of bees in the garden and help them survive and get the UK honey industry back on track  :) did all the washing up as well and then sat down and watched the last episode of The Walking Dead on the old virgin media catch up thingymajig (where is that series going though? and what caused the Zombie virus??? enquiring minds want to know) then watched CSI nice to see Lady Heather back  ;) a thoroughly enjoyable evening....tonight a nice salad with Brie and red onion marmalade and some multi seed bread......mmm looking forward to it....and next bank hols weekend we're off to stay at Yarlington House nr Bath in a YURT (it's called Glamping) with some friends, we got the confirmation our payment has gone through so really looking forward to that one piccys to be posted hopefully once taken and processed obviously

If you staying in a yurt, it's probably best you keep your thoughts on animal rights activists under wraps.  ;) (See other thread.)

Ah Graham this is no ordinary YURT, it is a YURT with Style, think shabby chic (alas we have been informed that the gramophone is now defunct) it has power (useful for charging the camera batteries and keeping the laptops charged as well) it has it's own cooking facilities, it has a real eclectic mix of furniture and is fully kitted out and it has its own separate shower and toilet

here's a link to it http://www.canopyandstars.co.uk/find-a-place/yarlington-house/yarlington-yurt (never have managed to work out how to do that HERE thing  :-[)

And I have no problem with animal rights activists protesting peacefully against vivisection/animal testing etc I just wish they wouldn't release non-native species into the wild so they decimate the natural population......

Simple

Huge Gypsy wedding to shoot today. Massive wedding dress (I hope) and carriage is the same Jordan and Peter Andre got married in. I've been told it cost £20,000/day for rent and transport. probably a sum blown up by the rumour mill. Nevertheless all dressed up and batteries charged.

Had an announcement at work yesterday late on - the company I work for has been sold and bought by another company - just about the biggest in Europe!

New owners flew in from Italy today and we had a bit of a presentation. All good stuff!

Exciting times ahead!

Weatherperson was wrong! It was warm and sunny all day! Nice change from the week of rain we've had. Also gave me a chance to mow the lawn before it got too thick for the lawnmower. It choked out in parts as it was.  :(
And more, much more than this, I did it my way
