What annoyed me today:
Struggling for ages with an image that looked wonky. Tried rotating it, transforming it etc. Everything looked lined up on the grid on the monitor, but it still looked wonky.
A spirit level proved that the monitor wasn't level...

Don't know if the issue is Win 10 or Lightroom 6, but they won't play nice together. When I try to go onto the Develop module Lightroom 6 stops responding.

Seams I'm not alone either.

It's Lightroom's Graphic Enabler option. Turned it off as per the MS Tech and it works now.

Graphics Enabler works OK for me, but I'm using Nvidia, I believe your problem could be down to the known problem of using AMD graphics. Assuming you are using an AMD graphics card.

Daughter is sending a series of boxes from Sheffield to Southampton, via a 'Man with a van.'
He was going to collect them at 7.30 this morning, and guess what? He hasn't been yet!

First it was something with the ignition, then the battery. Allegedly the RAC took four hours to get to him(?). Then he was going to rent another van, and would be at her place at 3 pm. When she rang him at 3.30 pm he had not even got the van! Apparently he needs a Luton and they are hard to come by.

If it continues like this. he'll be arriving in the middle of the night. If he arrives at all.

Anyone know a reliable, reasonably priced man with a van in Sheffield?

Went shopping for some floor tiles today and came out of the shop with a broken big toe! Long and short of it, the packaging gave way as I was lifting the bound boxes onto the trolley - WHAM -  :o  Plus a few painful words like OuCHH!   Well I will not be dancing for a few weeks I expect  :'( :( >:(

Yes a very big PAIN - On top of the usual muscle cramping up pains in having Parkinson's, my right foot is certainly letting me know that its there!

I know it always sounds slightly ridiculous to break a toe, but it's darned inconvenient, not to mention painful. Especially in your situation.
Put your feet up, and try to relax.

All the best!

Cheers   - I was hoping to get the downstairs wet room finished in the next day or so - Ho hum - Just hope the tiles are still on special offer.

Even more ridiculous, I only have 10 toes, but managed over the years to have about 20 broken ones. :'(

Dull cloudy conditions with rain. This summer has been rubbish. I blame it all on the Jeremiah's at the met office.  >:(

Epson. The auto updater decided that the driver on my good lady's laptop required updating, so she clicked 'OK'. Setting the bl**dy thing up to work with wifi in the first place took half a day, and the new improved driver update simply removed the printer from her device list. I've been trying to get the damned thing to work again for most of the morning. Every time the thing fails to connect - and so far this morning that is every time - I have to go back to root of the installer, which takes 8 minutes to work through every time before I can try to connect again. The software is so bad I think it must have been written by the iTunes team.

If there is one thing I can be sure of it is that I will never touch anything from Epson ever again.
