ABERS - that is bad. What a shame they ruined your holiday.

It appears that our much despised Socialist president, a particularly lame, venal and stupid slime of humanity, even in the company of other politicians, has paid a substantial sum to ransom four hostages from a group of Islamist terrorists. Who will now, no doubt, shortly kidnap some more French citizens in the sure and certain belief that it will make them rich(er), and use the cash to buy weapons to kill and maim the innocent in general, westeners and muslims who don't believe in their interpretation of the Quoran in particular.

I find it very difficult to think of anything more stupid he has done from a long and growing list of bat sh*t stupid; he makes Sarkozy look like he was a reliable genius.

I'm annoyed that tripod QR base-plates (the camera part) aren't standardized. There's tons of oldie but goodie tripods on E-Bay missing the base plate. I just received one I bought for less then the price of a good lunch, missing the base plate. I will probably just use it for a light stand so I'll make one out of some Maple.

But it would be nice if the plates were a standard size and interchangeable, whether to use multiple cameras on one stand or one camera on multiple stands. The whole idea of a quick release, in my mind, is so that you don't have to unscrew the plate all the time.

I'm very annoyed that 3 weeks after delivery, I'm still waiting for parts for my new kitchen. Shocking service!! >:( >:(

Driving home in the dark and nearly knock this guy off his bike and it is my fault as he is in all dark clothing and no lights :uglystupid2:
If cyclists want respect on the road then USE LIGHTS.
OK rant over and breathe.

My advice is to avoid Premier Kitchens. Appalling. A world of pain.  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( :knuppel2: :knuppel2: :knuppel2:

Insomnia, it's 4:30 am, here in the colonies. Been up since 3:30 am. Can't get back to sleep and it's become a regular occurrence.  :'(

Cyclists don't need lights, their self righteous glow is more than enough illumination.

I know what you mean Graham but as in drivers, photographers etc one bad cyclist shames the others too. I followed one cyclist the other day through a busy set of lights / roundabouts and it was bizarre. He went through alternate sets of red lights and waited at the others. When I pulled up alongside him at one he actually stopped for I had to ask him why the pattern. " I hadn`t noticed it " he said. "Sometimes I stop for them , sometimes I don`t" he says with a shrug. "Hopefully you don`t meet a car coming the other way with the same atttitude" I said as I drove off - tempted to open my door on him! :uglystupid2:

In Brum the car drivers do that. A couple of months ago I was walking across a Zebra crossing, when a car went onto the otherside of the road to avoid been stopped by me crossing!  :uglystupid2:

Gorgeous weather; brilliant sunshine and blue skies, and I felt too run down to attend the Remembrance Service at the local Cenotaph.

The timing of the case of 'Marine A' and Remembrance Day
The actions of one man, and at this point i'm not going to express an opinion, have detracted from a day that sets out to reminds us of all those who have fallen so we may enjoy the freedoms we have.
Though i've often felt the real shame is that we need a day to remember them - but then in this era of certain immigrant communities making off with metal from memorials...  :knuppel2: >:(

I have some sort of eye infection.  The only available over the counter eye drops, Polysporin Antibacterial (made by Johnson and Johnson) are on back order and have been for a month.  I drove around to 7 different pharmacies this morning hoping someone had them in stock.  No one did.  Aside from going to the doctor and getting a prescription I have no other way to treat it.
