Hi all,

First of all, I only recently remembered that I'd signed up to this place and since it's populated by some old friends from that useless DC Mag site, I figured I'd better reintroduce myself to those who don't know me! 

My name's Si and I'm a 40yr old freelance photographer from North and Mid Wales (although I'm a Southern shandy drinker). I've been a photographer in one form or another for the past 25 years or so... I'm a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and the Society of International Nature and Wildlife photographers as well. I'm a hardened Canon user and I currently use a 40D with a mixture of Canon and Sigma EX lenses.

My day job is for a power company where I spend most of my days either chasing people who bypass their electric meters or running around with various police forces disconnecting cannabis farms (it's interesting but can be a little fraught at times).
