First daft rhyme for Christmas

Christmas is coming and the Goose is much too fat,
If we cant afford a Chicken we'll have to eat the cat.

Happy Christmas to one and all
from
Malcolm

PS who will come up with the second verse....

Why did it change T urkey in my verse into chicken....

I'll go to bat,
For the second verse, my dear.
Joy to all
Far and near!

P.S. Third verse, any one?

I hope after last years rants,
that at least this year,
instead of socks and pants,
you get some photographic gear!

Merry Christmas

That one does not rhyme H ;)
No tree up here either - far too early. This year I wil not be allowed to get a cheaper one without the anti-needle drop as last years looked like it had alopecia within a week :D

It`s on a list for Santa
D700,pc and big screen
But what`s the bet on unwrapping
It will be something cheaper they`ve seen

   And while we're at it!
How do we know that they had pizza at the Feast of Stephens?

Deep pan, Crisp and Even! :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

Put my name down for that third humbug will you, cheers. No tree here yet and as the wife's done her back in there's no way i'm decorating something that you take down 2 weeks later. ;) My excuse is I'm saving the planet by lowering the carbon footprint unlike the rest of the neighbourhood who it seems are all trying to out do each other with the amount of lights they've got.  ::)

While we're in the mood ....

"frohe Weihnachten und ein glueckliches neues Jahr"

In the UK I got so many silly comments about my name at this time of year, it's quite pleasant to be anonymous in Germany  ::)

'K.  Last albums collected, last orders delivered, last emails sent.

I'm knocking off for Christmas 3 minutes early :D

If you saw the other thread then you'll know what I'm up to but let's just say it involves no emails and no mobiles for a whole week.

Merry Christmas - catch you all in the New Year.

I hope you get there OK Jonathan and have a great break (even getting a chance to use your new toy).
Thank you for all of your support and input over the year either directly or indirectly - it has all been much appreciated.

Enjoy your R&R. Venice is a great place to relax.

Well its nearly time to go to the pub and fight my way to the bar through all the people that only appear at Christmas time. Next thing the people who ignore me for 11 & half months of the year will be wishing me well, shaking my hand and some hugging and kissing me ( some all three ). And there will of course be no chance of a game of pool with all the drunks wanting to play each other.
Why do I go ?....... Anyway Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all....... Dave...    :legit:

Merry Christmas everyone!

I've not been around CC much for the past 2-3 months as I've been so busy with work and doing quite a lot of travelling. I've been lurking though when I've had time and it's great to see the hard work Mick has put in is being enjoyed by so many more people and resulting in sharing of some fantastic pictures and conversation.

Hopefully in 2010 I'll be around a little bit more to join in the conversations and share some pics.

All the very best to you and yours.

Steve
