SPOON:

Harking back to an old memory - one of the first weekly challenge topics I can recall from DCM days. Any picture in any style of any subject you like, but there must be a spoon in the picture. Not even necessarily relevant to the rest of the image, but a clearly visible spoon of some kind.

This is the CHAT thread.

The ENTRIES thread is HERE

Interpret and edit how you wish, no holds barred on the PP.

Pictures to be taken preferably between now and Sunday 14th June 2020, or if you do not have time something from your archives that fits the brief.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59 Monday 15th June 2020.
Poll will be up Tuesday 16th June 2020.

Winner to be announced Saturday 20th June 2020.

The Rules for the weekly competition are...

By entering you agree to take responsibility to;

Post a topic on the Sunday (or sooner) following your declared win
Create an entries thread
Create a chat thread
Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.

I`m in with this one. Cannot claim originality as I`ve seen a few over the years but when I was looking for spoons and found a jam spoon I couldn`t resist it. If we`d have had 3 jam spoons instead of 1 it would have been an easier shot! A few new things for me doing this. I found that my tripod completely inverted making it easier. Did a bit of cloning and composite work and then had to liquify the egg to make it larger as it was too small. The plate egg and one spoon were one shot and then 2 more with the spoons moved , cut out and merged. Needed more time spent but limited. There was one kink in the spoon but liquified (in photoshop) to get another. First time I`ve used liquify tool in years - used to crash every time I tried to use it. Of course in my happiest field of edible props and the dry fried egg sandwich was very nice. :D

Having set the challenge I still haven't got the faintest idea what to do, but do something I shall. I mean, how hard can it be?

Jediboy

I'm with you on that H.
I've taken a few photos but they're not what I'm after.
Will be leaving to the last minute again today.
May the Force be with you.

Did one this afternoon. Not 100% happy and have probably processed it too much. May revisit it in the morning tomorrow, but don't hold your breath.
