Has anyone tried this software and does it do the same job as lightroom, never heard of it before but there is a free trial so might give it a go.

Corel brought Bibble Labs which produced this software. See this: http://www.dpreview.com/news/2012/01/10/CorelAfterShotPro

Corel produce one of the best drawing packages around, so have always been involved in graphics. It's is therefore natural that they moved into the digital market hence, why they brought Paint Shop Pro and Wordperfect Office.  ;D

Before I read your reply Oldboy I was thinking to myself that this looks rather like Bibble.

I like Bibble, but never had enough spare dosh for the Pro version, Looks like Corel have cut the price and so I might well be interested in this.

I'm downloading the trial to see what's different and if I can find some cash lying around somewhere.

I have just tried this software and it seems easier to use than Lightroom so I might invest in it when the free trial runs out.

Just looking around and discovered Bibble is still out there. I thought I'd remembered that it had a Linux version and sure enough it does indeed.  ;D Oh, and so does the new Corel version!
And more, much more than this, I did it my way
