Cheap way to get some great photographs. Haven't read the 'terms and conditions,' but I suspect the BBC can use the images in every way they want.
Apologies to the Beeb if I am wrong.
Not read full conditions but it does state in the piece that copyright remains with photographer and BBC will only use them in regard to this comp showing images. Unlike the weather pics etc where they grab images for use. Might have a go in the New Year. I used to like doing the Guardian ones linked to Flicker where they selected sets for reviews and was lucky enough to get a couple of sets published. One set even got me a paid shoot when a client saw it.
