what do i need so i can mount my 70-200 lens on the tripod? It must be some kind of bracket but i've no idea what.
Who wanted dry roasted with their pint?

Quite a few lenses come with a detachable tripod collar.  What is the exact make and model of the lens?

As Mick says. If it did not come with one you probs dont need one as most tripods will support both the cam and lens  even the light end type. Unless you have some specific need to support the lens on its own?
