I must be the only one who sees one camera does the same thing as another camera... take pictures. I'm in no hurry to change my 350D to Canons 'latest and best thing since yesterday' DSLR.

Now, if it were an Epson R-D1s...

Your point would be valid in the world of film... But with improvements in film technology you have to substitute sensor technology.
Whilst many of the 'gadgets' being built into modern DSLr's seems a bit over the top - there is a need to upgrade the sensor size to a certain point for certain kinds of photography such as stock. Also, the improved iso performance is welcome.

But i do agree with the principal of your statement.

I've upgradse from a D80 to a D90, Find them both good cameras but the D90 is better with the Cmos chip than the D80 that is now a back.
