I realise we have some very accomplished photographers on this site but for those of us who are newer to the hobby I was wondering what blogs people follow or occasionally read and would recommend to others. I know a few of you guys have your own blogs, Wendoureecat and Alan's I have visited on occasion,  I just wondered what else of interest is out there ,or which are the ones you'd recommend for perusal?

Hi Irv - don't know about all but i've seen Jonathans and Eileens blogs whilst also looking at Alans.
If you look at the signatures you will often find the address of those who have a blog or recommend one

I subscribe to the strobist blog and the DIYPhotography.net blog

These tend to focus on strobe lighting. Some good tips and techniques are usually provided.

I've found "The Online Photographer" can raise some interesting thoughts, every so often. :)

Hmm, you'd think that Google Reader would let me export recommendations...

Anyway just drop these in the search bar in Reader for some good reads:
The usual suspects: Chase Jarvis, Joe McNally, Scott Kelby, Planet Neil, Strobist, FlashFlavor, Prophotonut (don't let the name put you off)
Slightly more offbeat: Joey Lawrence, Robert Benson
Worth a look for pictures: Chromasia, Flak Photo, Green Tea Magazine
And you could always check out: http://myweddingstory.co.uk/feed/

BTW if you're not using Google Reader then try it now!  I've used a bunch of free and paid for RSS readers and as always the Google product is by far the best.  Started using it a week or so ago and it lets me keep up with about 20 blogs a day from multiple computers and my phone.

I only keep an eye on a couple including Anna Ridley http://ab-photoaday2007.blogspot.com/ and Wayne D's http://wdphotografics.blogspot.com/ I really need more hours in the day to even look at other things let alone try to keep mine up to date  ;D
