WMMFG

A pleasant weekend, Saturday we went over and saw my best friend and his wife, and our 14 month old "godchildren" (twins) and their older son, we took the eldest one his belated birthday present which was a globe and he absolutely loved it, he's mad keen on football so he was trying to find the countries where all the international players come from on it, as he only had an atlas before this was a bit awkward for him being only 8 yrs old...as the atlas kind of showed things like Brazil next to South Africa....thetwins are growing fast and it was just nice to spend time with them all...did absolutely nothing yesterday, just a real chilled out day

Glad you had a good weekend Keith.

Our internet was down all day yesterday, and the clutch pedal on our car broke.

But THIS made me chuckle, albeit briefly.

The spare part to fix the clutch is €2.94, and I can do it myself.

That's the kind of breakdown I can live with . .

I haven't been on here much in the last few weeks due to my Dad passing away on the 7th of May and to be honest I have felt much like picking up a camera or even socialising much but he had a fantastic send off on Monday after some troubles with the first funeral home we had the second could do enough to make it as comfortable as it could be well wmmfgt you could ask about this situation ? Well my wife told me today that Wesley told her that he has never been as proud of me as he was Monday and he has seen a different side to me which makes him so proud to be my son

This is the cover from the order of service booklet the funeral home produced for us

So sorry for your loss Irv.

I still think about my father every day, even though it is several years since he passed.

The order of service looks like he had a fabulous send off.

My condolences for your loss Irv, you have the strength of a close family that means a great deal at times like these.

Best regards
Alan.

Sorry about your loss irv_b. It's never easy no matter what age they reach.  :'(

What you wife told you about what you son said, must have brough a lump to your throat. It's probably what your dad said about you.

Mick

My condolences to you and your family Irv.  The pain will ease with time, but the memories will be with you always.

Sorry for you loss Irv. Lost my dad 35 yrs ago next week. Like Howard I think of him all the time.  As a former boss said to me, you maybe an adult but he was still your Dad and that's just how it is.
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

My thoughts are with you Irv. I have a portrait of my Ma in her youth (way before I was born) on the wall above my PC. Nice service sheet and thanks for sharing.

It would have been better if you had got her a bigger sister instead!  :2funny:

Congratulations.
