Any CC member within easy reach of Mid Wales who would like to meet for a portraiture session would be welcome to use my facilities at Cann Office, Llangadfan (Nr Welshpool). I can also get models if necessary or bring your own or both. Late this year or early next year - Day or evening - Large or small groups or Solo if necessary.

First of all please let me know if there is any interest and suggest when.

Alternativey my gear if portable if someone else has a venue I can reach....

Let's see what other replies I get - I would be happy with more than one date if demand requires that.

Also I should have added the space is big enough for a second set up if anyone wants to bring their own - just one condition though - I'm sharing mine so they must also share theirs....

That's fair enough - and I do have a pair of Elinchrom lights plus a cheap pair. Wireless Tx/Rx - and possibly something else after Christmas!!

How far away are you?

Only South West Of Birmingham - Solihull to be exact. About 100miles.

The last studio shoot I did was in Manchester - and we came past your place on the way to Barmouth at the end of the summer!!

Google says I'm about 5 hours away

However, it also says you're about 89.6 miles from the NEC.  Focus is on in very early March - how about tying it in with this if you don't get any interest earlier?  People could pop over to your lovely hotel for a sesh, get gear envy and nip over to Brum to quench it.

Alternatively, if anybody has a similar venue a bit closer to me then I'd be happy to pitch in with the organisation.

Distance from the NEC must be about right - I'm about 10miles from it!

First of all I doubt if my set up would give anyone gear envy - It may show them just how little you need to get results.

Second this is a Pub with rooms rather than a lovely hotel - however the food and beer make the trip worthwhile.

Dates dont really matter to me unless they clash with holidays which are not yet fixed and as I have said another venue is no problem.  I just hope to get a group of us together to have some fun and maybe learn a little from each other but more important to share our love of photography....

I know of a lovely little venue in Cantebury 
I'm sure several could be convinced to jump on the train for a mince pie and cup of tea...

Certainly need to do Wales at some point - the only part of the UK i haven't really visited. Maybe a meet could be organised in the general vicinity allowing for a chance to drop in as part of the plans...

Its not much farther to get to Snowdonia and places like Barmouth (Went for a day this year )

Lovely part of the world, and well worth a visit - get the weather and it can't be beaten!

This is just one of a number of young ladies willing to pose for you. I can probably get about 4 to 6 if needed.

The area is superb for landscapes and if the weather is  kind to us the girls would also do outdoor posing for you.

This could be a really fun day for up to about 10 people.

Come on - Wales is great......
