This week's challenge is THE ROAD
Anything relating THE ROAD - from a landscape shot of your favourite meandering lane to a convoy of articulated trucks, from a classic car rally to a soapbox cart race. Whatever you like, but the lure of the open road should shine through.
No restrictions whatsoever on PP work.
Pictures to be taken between now and Sunday 16th September 2018, 23:59, but if you find yourself at a loss in this time period, please enter something from your personal archives.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59 Monday 17th September 2018.
Poll will be up Tuesday 18th September 2018.
Winner to be announced Saturday 22nd September 2018

Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)
In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins
This is my entry, however having read the thread in full it doesn't really fit the bill. I scanned it originally and read 'Road' but I've only read the bit about the 'lure of the open road.' The lure of the open road is disrupted by the traffic jam:

The repairs to the Oldbury Viaduct on the M5 will take two years. While this is going on the traffic is confined to one lane in both directions, hence the traffic jam. :doh:
