While waiting for my connection from Heathrow, I bought a lucky dip for tonight's Euromillions draw. (Well, you never know, do you?)

I very much doubt however, that I will win the 'big one,' as on the ticket it urges me to buy a ticket for Wednesday's roll over!

How do they know it will be a roll over? Are these things fixed? Is there no chance at all, I might empty the lottery pot tonight?

Anyone any idea how this works?

As you had brought your ticket after Wednesday night's draw, which wasn't won then, it rolled over to Saturday's draw. Simple!

As to your other questions,

Anyone any idea how this works? No.

Thanks! It indeed mentions Lotto draw, which I did not spot. Should have realised, there is no Euromillions draw on Wednesdays. Never expected Euromillions to advertise Lotto.

I know I'll never win big money, but I am happy with small sums. Last time I tried, I 'made' £ 3.60!

Good luck in tonight's draw.
