Culinary

Let's see something associated with the kitchen.

No restrictions on Post Processing

Pictures to be taken between 00.01am Monday 4th Mar 2013 to 23:59 Sunday 10th Mar 2013.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 11th Mar 2013.
Poll will be up Tuesday 1th Mar 2013.
Winner to be announced Saturday 16th March 2013.

Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday

I too had to think of Jinky, the minute I saw the new challenge.

Food is always a bit of a problem for me somehow, I'm better at eating it, than photographing it. But I'll see what I can come up with.

Washing machine? (Just finished a load.)
Toaster?               (Some interesting crumbs.)
Cutlery?                (Done to death, but still some possibilities.)

Not much choice, as we have a small, functional kitchen.

But don't worry Mike, I'll come up with something. And as there are no restrictions on pp, I can always 'tart it up.'

Porridge! (Saves stirring on the hob.) But it is very boring to photograph, as I eat it 'with nothing.' (The porridge, not me.)
So I can't photograph melting sugar or syrup or whatever people have with their porridge.

Made a delicious, goodlooking North African 'beef soup with apricots,'  yesterday, and still did not manage a good shot. Maybe I was too hungry?

Shot some tomatoes earlier in the week (all over walls and ceiling now of course!), that did come out well. Played around with the photos and, unless I can find something more original, they'll have to do.

Stuck for ideas just now. Should have taken a shot of my pig`s head the other day. Made a tenderloin pork pie with apple and balck pudding in and shaped tyhe pastry into a pigs head with snout etc. Now why didn`t I take a shot?
