Nature in the spring
I hear a little bird chirping in the tree top
Could this mean the beginning of spring?
Whilst not to mention
Feathers need attention
And all the little birds have a song to sing
I see a squirrel brushing up his fur coat
Time to look dapper and find a lady friend
Jumping though the branches
Showing off he prances
Leaping tree to tree with a signal to send
Out of hibernation come hedgehogs and dormice
Butterflies and moths start to flutter in the sun
Insects scurrying
Endless hurrying
Nature in the spring is a great deal f fun

Thanks for sharing that. :)
It's been a long winter, and I can see how the promise of lighter evenings and a dash of birdsong can make you come over all lyrical.
Graham.
Your welcome Graham :)
I have a whole website full of little ditties ::)
Hi Beryl - If you are into ditties, verse etc take a look at http://www.idf50.co.uk/clubhouse/index.php (http://www.idf50.co.uk/clubhouse/index.php)where there is an active poetry section always looking for new talent. You will find me there already but under a different name.
