I wish I had my camera......

I went for a walk with the dogs today and  was walking around some lakes at a local nature reserve.
I saw a wonderful looking heron sat on an old tree stump, reflecting beautifully in the water of the lake.
If only I'd had my camera with me,  but it was at home. I have many  many examples like this, as I'm sure we all do.
It can't just be me. Please feel free to share.
May the Force be with you.

Possibly even worse is when you DO have your camera...

The "two that got away" that I particularly remember are:

Driving out of Pulborough, and seeing a mist rising from the river, with trees along the riverbank etc. We were on our way somewhere, and didn't stop. I've never seen it happen again.

Driving near Ben Cruachan and having perfectly still water on the loch, with a perfect mirror reflection. A narrow road, and nowhere to stop...
Both income tax and lockdowns were introduced as temporary measures by the government.

Good point Stephen.
There have been many times when I am driving along and see a stunning view or similar but I am in a rush somewhere and can't stop. Very frustrating.
May the Force be with you.

Oh I think we have all been there!
