  Hi Gang.
Is it possible to copy a pic from your Flckr account and paste it elsewhere?
I need to post some pics of a rather nice carbon fibre cycle I'm floging, so I stuck some on Flickr and now find that I can only link to them not copy using [img] etc.
Is it because Flickr won't allow it or is there another method?
                                           Yours in hope.   Graham.

You can get the code on Flickr by right clicking on the image size, select properites from the dropdown list and from the pop-up window copy the address URL.  ;D

Thanks folks, lets have a go.

If I do a straight copy & paste I get this:-
                                                                                    http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2533/5695631107_a4ebd0349b.jpg

If I put the code between the tags I get this:-

Beryl. If it's because my pics are protected, how do I unprotect them? In the "Who can see these images" bit, it says "Anyone".

                    Confused & Embarrassed.  Graham.

edit.   Oh! It worked that time! :o
Let me see what I did diferently. :-[

Yep, seems to be working now. The first time I put it in the tags, I got the red cross in a little box thing.

                            Thanks all.  Graham.

PS   Anyone want to buy a bike?

Yeah it was always a technical breach of Flickr's TOS to hotlink to an image.  They have tweaked some settings lately so that it's easier to comply than not.

Nice bike....
