I'll ask at work tonight if I can book the 2nd weekend off then and ask folks about trains and such when they are home. If it's a Sunday then even better but in guessing it's not aha, usually how these things work prob...

Oh - it's likely to be a weekday shoot - is that a problem?

Oh and is it just standing in the water holding or going under for a bit?

Odds are you won't even get wet ;)

sounding good... As long as it is not a Wednesday or Friday, but if it is may need to know pretty quick to get it off and need to work out costs and such

Craig, if Jonathan thinks it cool for us both to be there, I can always pick you up and drop you off from London Euston station if its easier, which will save JR to get on and do whatever at his end

Cool guys.  Do you both want to DM me what days you can / can't make in July and I'll start jiggling diaries?

Just thought, I won't be able to get to the station or where the coach/bus leaves on time so I won't be able to do it  :-[

But maybe next year from after easter ish, when I do Pro Practice or whatever they call I maybe be able to if you have projects or what ever going...

Bah!

I know, was looking forward to meeting people off this Forum, a midlands meet never happened either lol.

Thanks for the offer but I can't get to my train station in time to get to Euston lol. Plus if I got the coach then thats even further to go from mine and I can't really get to that lol...

But maybe next year...

Hmmm my diary is complicated......I was aiming for the 8th but now it's looking like the 20th July.  I have model, frock and venue.  Just waiting on the MUA - who is pretty important.  It's very specialised.

Who is up for 20th?  Start rigging at 10ish ready to shoot around noon.

I'll certainly stand in as a a back up or second. Hopefully Irv is available still.

Craig you absolutely have to make this, if only because I want to see photos of Jonathan drowning whilst being fried by his lights!
Seriously, this is a golden opportunity and you need to rethink. Surely a mate can get you to the station? For a chance to watch and learn from Jonathan I'd borrow a bike and peddle there! I cannot believe you are letting a relatively minor problem get in the way.

Right.  We're on.

I have:
1. A pool
2. an amazing model
3. a staggeringly talented underwater make up artist
4. a plastic bag to put my camera in
5. an untried and frankly pretty odd system for triggering the lights
6. a dress worth well over a grand that we can get wet
7. The mighty Irv
8. a BTS video guy

20th July we'll be doing this for real.

What could possibles go wrong?

Craig - you in or out?
It's Guest's round

ABERS

Sounds interesting. What's it all in aid of, or can't you reveal the client?

Is the 'staggeringly talented underwater make up artist' doing it underwater then? ;)
