Episode 3 tonight Sky Arts 8pm. The Nude.

I picked a good night to start my recorded series link then Abers  ;)

ABERS

Recording is the best way to view, you can skip all the adverts and get the programme down to about  30 mins.

Don't  know where they got the competitors from but there's  not a lot of creativity coming out, mind you the image from this weeks specialist was not particularly inspiring creativewise.   Sticking a bunch of flowers up someone's jacksey  might be construed as creative 8)

Thought the best image was chosen as the winner.

Yes I thought best one won out too. Still find the judges a little harsh and one dimensional but this task really sorted out the competitors and as you say not much creativity. The usual "get myself in the shot" from the young pretty one, an obvious copy of one of the examples given by the one goin g out and the rest  doing  group contortions etc. I hated the tatooed woman shot that they seemd to like just because " It shows ugly". I bet she`ll be pleased.  I dom like to watch this though and imaginew what I would do. I think I`d have done OK last week in berlin but would have struggled myself this week as I`ve just no idea how to pproach bude work. I`d have been looking for accentuationg curves / spines and been told I was cliched no doubt. failing that I`d have put some roses where the sun don`t shine and capture the flowing blood  ;)

I think that's already been done by Carry On Nurse and Wilfrid Hyde White.  :P

A little late in the day. Hieronymous Boscastle employed this "creativity"  back in 15th  century in a painting that the competitor was trying to recreate.

Just "tried" to watch Ep 2.
Had to turn off after 20+ mins. Bored shitless.
was not helped by the comment, " too much light the image will be over exposed" "too little, under" :legit: :legit:

Master of Photography.
It's  degenerated into a boring and repetitive  programme, with the last episode  employing some Hollywood  hard case who spent the whole of his input acting the part. I shall persevere until the bitter end just to see who  manages to win the  €150,000 prize and  pull off the biggest heist   since the Great Train Robbery.

I did see a bit of the nude episode - I did like the bloke that was jumping - as for the rest, meh.

Yes I thought he was acting (like a pratt mainly) throughout and yet was decrying the image Tarantino had given him through the role! I thought the image picked out was my favourite - sat by the pool , although it was more luck than planning he ended up going in close. His "reflection"shots were abysmal and not worth getting wet for! The Chinese guy rightfully went home for the worst portrait shots I`ve seen in a while and others were rather boring. i`ll still be watching it in future weeks though just to see if that older male judge gets any less birtly / rude and who wins.
