Title: Printer Sharing
Post by: Alfonso_Frisk on March 02, 2008, 04:06:43 PM
I'm struggling to get my printer set up to print from my lappy in another room.

The printer is connected to the desktop pc and prints from that.
I use the lappy downstairs vis wireless
I have enabled sharing in the printer properties
Both d/top and lappy have latest driver installed.
I just cant get the printer to print from the lappy.
Any ideas ????

Alf

If your using Norton internet security, i'd try turning your firewall off.

Aso, have you allowed sharing on the pc? (the one with the printer plugged into it).

Sharing is selected on the pc.
Was thinking it maybe something to do with firewalls. Lappy has norton and desktop has ZA so maybe a conflict there or a setting I have missed
