Sorry for the delay in posting – ISP problems!!! 

CHAT THREAD
This week the theme is lights, it can be any light from street lighting to the standard lamp in your living room, they can be off or on, they can be background (Bokeh) to enhance a shot or they can be the main feature.   

Pictures to be taken between 00.01am Monday 6th Feb 2012 to 23:59 Sunday 12th Feb 2012 .
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 13th Feb 2012.
Poll will be up Tuesday 14th Feb 2012.
Winner to be announced Saturday 18th Feb 2012.

I feel, if that is the theme, i must put first dibs here before Graham does, for a picture of some new strobeam lights to be taken on Saturday

Had all sorts of, more or less, creative ideas, but nothing came of it. So here I am, with an ugly street light in a beautiful landscape.

This is my entry

Having been either in bed or shivering uncontrollably with a hideous manflu that Mrs H brought home from work (she was in bed 3 days straight herself) for the latter half of the week, I decided I'd better make a bit of an effort.

So it was out with the tea lights, box of matches, tripod, and a bit of black cloth. Unfortunately they are vanilla scented candles and my hands smell a bit. The sacrifices I make for my art . .

I'm in with this, I had an idea which required me to go out after dark to the local church but it started to rain just and to be honest I couldn't be bothered to get wrapped up, so it had to be an indoor shot.



I hope Mrs H and yourself are feeling better soon Howard.  That ManFlu is dangerious, very dangerious, you look after yourself

Dosed up    for painful fluisinuses - lots of bugs floating around up here too    but managed a wee play with a dimmer switch.

Reinardina: the standard classification for cold viruses is as follows: sniffle, cold, heavy cold, 'flu*, man 'flu. Women cannot get anything worse than 'flu. Man 'flu is the only kind of cold virus that a man can suffer from. Man 'flu mutates from any one of the milder forms as soon as a man catches it. Simple.
