Hi
Chris the farrier came to the farm, where Johns wife keeps her horses today, he was a really interesting guy, anyway I had a go at capturing the motion blur of his hammer, what do you think?

Works for me
Though, possibly too much blur!
I like it a lot - a fine picture in its own right, and also a good record of how the job is done.
A little too much blur for even me (and I love motion blur). I guess some fill-in flash would've provided a touch more definition
Cheers everyone
heres another with less hammer blur bonus is it has read hot flying scale, I tried all different speeds 1/40 was OOF, and 1/60 had someones feet in shot

Great exposure on both shots. Like the second best. ;D
Oh, yes the second one for me
Yep. Second one for me too. A cleaner shot , if you know what I mean.
Graham.
Somewhere in between the two! ;)
Cheers everyone your comments are much appreciated
For me the second one has more appeal, and in my opinion very nice compositional shapes and lines to hold the viewers eye.
Thanks Andy
