 Lighthouse at Talacre.jpg
Lighthouse At Talacre27 viewsHave wanted to shoot here for ages, so I thought I’d take advantage of the weather being stormy to give the image more impact. What I hadn’t bargained for was the sand getting all over my gear, took most of Sunday afternoon to get things clean again. Have to admit though I’d go back again to get more shots.3 commentsBingo

Queen of the Night14 viewsDid something different for me and went out to the follies in our local park to help a couple of budding dress designeres get portfolios together to get work with their victorian wedding / evening dresses and a great Queen of the Night Gormengahast trilogy dress. We had an hour before and after sunset to shoot and three flashs - 2 x SB600s and an SB800 - oh how I needed more! Plans to light the castle folly with a blue gel were quickly abandoned when the SB600 just could not hack it. 2 commentsjinky

Red devils14 viewsThese are traditional masquerade characters from Trinidad's carnival. I really like the traditional characters and particularly the devils because they get so much into their characters and really work the crowd.3 commentsEileen

058 Reflections_tree branches pinhole ecopy.jpg
Shadowland37 viewsThis was taken on our last DCMAG day out, when Andrew and Sandy and I went to see some of London's Garden Squares. This tree is in the garden at Middle Temple. The treatment is a filter in my newest toy - Silver Efex Pro. I was just playing around but this filter (pinhole camera) seemed immediately to suit this image.8 commentsEileen
