This week's theme is FLIGHT. Anything to do with flight, human, bird, frisbee - it doesn't matter.

No restrictions on PP.

Pictures to be taken between now and Sunday 13th March 2016, 23:59.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59pm Monday 14th March 2016.
Poll will be up Tuesday 15th March 2016.
Winner to be announced Saturday 19th March 2016.

Just to clarify for Re and anyone else who has the impression that the topic requires the subject to actually be in flight, this is not the case. The theme is anything to do with flight, static or otherwise. Really quite a wide choice I would hope

I've done the thinking, and assuming the old adage 'Interpret as you like, the voter decides,'  is still valid, went completely out of the box.

Hope there will be a few more entries this time.

Where is everybody these days?

Had hoped for some entries by now, but maybe people do not want to be the first to enter?

Let me open the bidding then, with my surreal Flight of Stairs:

Well, yes they posed a bit more of a problem, but nothing compared to a bird. Went for a walk on the Common today, and saw two robins, flitting about, and one even staying put for a reasonable time, but I still couldn't 'get' them properly. I'm simply too slow for wildlife.

Now if we take L out of flight then this might be OK.

Sorry- promised myself I`d get some entries in after getting back rom holiday only to be really busy with a wedding shoot and then my daughter got seriously ill with complications after a standard procedure left her discharged  from hospital with low blood pressure. Turned out she had internal bleeding after  a leak and 4 units of blood pouring into her stomach / insides which made her collapse. Rushed back to hospital A&E next morning and they had to operate again and give her a blood transfusion. Not sure at this stage if it was negligence or just bad luck. The number of visits from her surgeon and senior consultant  to her hospital bed over the extra time in hospital I suspect someone boobed ! Never see them normally afterwards. Meant us being down there for a week with no camera in tow so sorry for absence. This week I promise I`ll get one in!
