The Washington  Post  invited readers to take any word in the dictionary and, after adding, subtracting or changing only one letter,  supply a different definition. Some that are applicable to our hobby.

Focuss; expletive on seeing a blurred image.

Triplod; the slow, puffing gait of a large format camera worker.

Viewfinger; gesture observed from an irate subject.

Focale Point ; the place from which every tourist takes a picture.

Motour drive; the process of photographing an entire scenic vista without getting out of the car.

Give it some thought.

I have tried to manipulate a commonly used  photographic term "Taking a shot" but I cannot think of anything :uglystupid  2:

"Talking a shot" - using meaningless arty terms to explain how wonderful your picture is.

"Snappine" - hurried Ansel Adams tribute picture

"Explosure" - emotion upon finding that your battery is dead just as the best shot of the day hoves into view.

"Death of Field" - overly blurred background

Can't think of any more for the moment. Off to the shops.
