The theory seems to be that as long as a man is a failure he is one of God's children, but that as soon as he succeeds he is taken over by the Devil. H.L Mencken.

Will have to see whyat crops up when I`m away. I`d have given good odds on getting a daily activity captured differently where I am going ( Dubai/Abu Dhabi and Muscat) until I read their laws on photography re: people, palaces, government buildings and fortifications. If I manage to get back wiothout being arrested I`ll see what I can do.

Have a good holiday Paul. I like being retired too, but although holidays are a once a year luxury I do live in a rather pleasant part of the world. BTW, I'll do the poll for black and white for you on Tuesday when I get back from the shops.

Perhaps Paul you can illustrate the daily routine on the prison cruise ship?

I`ve done a local scene instead. Due to jet lag / tiredness I missed the deadline but put this quick one in to make up the numbers if you allow it. If not no worries. Loved these 1 dirham (25p) taxis over the Creek at Dubai. Prices totally out of step with everything else we saw there!

If the prisons were like that cruise there would indeed be an outcry Howard! Top service and food just too good!
